Building Permits and or Zoning Compliance Permits
Building and Zoning permits are required for all construction projects.
The list below generalize those projects requiring permits.
A Zoning Compliance permit is waived when a building permit is obtained.
New Buildings
(for all new construction)
Additions
(such as bedrooms, bathrooms, family rooms, dormers, etc.)
Other Residential Work
(such as decks, porches, garages, carports, sunrooms, pools, pole barns, sheds, re-roofing, re-siding, fences, etc.)
Renovations
(garage conversions, basement conversions, window/door relocations, commercial renovations)
Demolitions
(commercial and residential)
Signage
(for all new signs)
Ponds/Excavations
(for new and expansion of ponds)
